Getting Started
Is Librae a law firm? No. Librae is a technology tool that generates informational demand letters using artificial intelligence. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of the App does not create an attorney-client relationship. For important legal matters, we always recommend consulting a licensed attorney.
Who can use Librae? Librae is available to United States residents who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state, whichever is higher).
Are the letters generated by a real attorney? No. All letters are generated by an AI system (Anthropic’s Claude). While letters are based on established legal frameworks and jurisdiction-specific rules, they are AI-generated documents — not reviewed or authored by a licensed attorney. Always review your letter carefully before sending it.
Subscriptions and Credits
How do I cancel my Claim Premium subscription? Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Librae and tap Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Claim Premium features until then. Librae cannot process cancellations directly — all subscription management goes through your Apple ID.
Will I be charged immediately when my subscription renews? Yes — your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before your renewal date. To avoid being charged for a new period, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
Can I get a refund? Refund requests for subscriptions must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Librae does not process refunds. Consumed letter credits are non-refundable.
What is the difference between a subscription and a credit? A Claim Premium subscription gives you unlimited full letter generation across all scenarios and rounds for the duration of your subscription. A single credit is a one-time consumable that generates one full letter. Credits do not expire, but are non-refundable once used.
Is FCRA credit dispute letter generation really free? Yes. Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679c), you have the right to dispute credit report errors at no charge. Round 1 FCRA dispute letters are always generated in full at no cost — no subscription or credit required. This is a federal legal requirement built into the app.
Letter Generation
What do I do if letter generation fails or takes too long? Letter generation typically completes within 30–60 seconds. If generation fails:
- Check your internet connection
- Close and reopen the App
- Try generating the letter again
If the problem persists, email support@libraelegal.com with your account email and a description of what happened. We will investigate and, if the failure was on our end, restore your credit or subscription usage.
Can I edit my letter after it’s generated? The App generates a complete PDF letter. You can download the PDF and edit it in a PDF editor before sending. We recommend reviewing every letter carefully for accuracy before sending.
Can I send my letter via certified mail through the App? The certified mail feature is not available yet. It will be offered in a future update. When it is enabled, it will be a paid service.
Account Management
How do I delete my account? You can delete your account in two ways:
- Within the App: Go to Settings and tap Delete Account
- By email: Send a request to support@libraelegal.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All of your data — including your profile, all intake data, all generated letters, and all PDFs — will be permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
How do I change the email address on my account? Email us at support@libraelegal.com and we will assist you.
How do I contact Librae? Email us at support@libraelegal.com. We respond within 1–2 business days. There is no phone support at this time.
Privacy and Data
Does Librae sell my data? No. Librae does not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is used.
Does Librae share my dispute information with anyone? The facts you provide in the intake form are transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate your letter. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models by default. No other third party receives your intake data. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of third-party service providers.
